Last week, we had the privilege of being asked to dance for a charity event promoting support for mental health issues and suicide prevention. What an honour to be part of this 🙏 No one is exempt from struggling with mental health, it can happen at any point during your life. Dance for me has always been a way to keep my mind and my body healthy. Recently this hasn’t been super easy for me having moved across the world, struggling with back pain issues and coping with so much change. And of course there are times when I can be hard on myself and set high expectations for myself 🙏
But this day was a celebration and reminder of how dance can help lift our spirits, no matter where you’re at in life, your level, goals, or pressure on yourself. To be free and enjoy the ability to move, dance, enjoy music and share with others is what’s also important ❤️ and to be able to share this moment with my other half @petersonmiguellive and @briannflores_ was super special 😊
