But the astounding news is that the RHS has relaxed their ban on Garden Gnomes especially for this occasion --- which I believe will be an auction. Big thanks to our friends at Sony Pictures for Anita's private movie night last night --- and the treat was massive --- Ryan Gosling's Project Hail Mary. It's been a long time since I was truly entranced by a movie -- and this is IT for me. In my view this beautiful film is a truly great piece of story telling -- a quality that I feel has been absent from many of the recent Oscar-winning movies. And my dear friend Daniel Pemberton's music is a masterpiece - surely set to win him many awards. Love it. I'm a Ryan Gosling devotee now ... THANKS guys !!! Bri

Following up on our Team Daffodil planting --- here we are, back on green this morning, dead heading 3,000 stalks to make sure all the energy goes back down into the bulbs for a nice display next Spring. We're also feeding them with something very much like tomato fertiliser,
from that blue Bowser you see there, to give them an extra boost ! I've been quite thrilled to get so many happy comments from the village about this year's display. Probably the best part of it all has been the friends I've made here in Elstead - including the kids, who have been so supportive - thanks St James and Huckleberries. Big thanks to my gallant friends on Team Daffodil, our small band of volunteers, and to The Rev Hannah for the blessing !! It all came together so nicely.
And of course thanks to our Parish council for giving me permission to donate Spring beauty to our community ! We were all hoping to adorn the main Village Green for next Spring ... but sadly the Parish Council last night rejected my plan. Apparently the main objection is that the sight lines on the Green will be affected for traffic. We're struggling to imagine how 18 inch stalks could instruct anyone's view ! Especially when the green is normally surrounded by parked vehicles, including a 7 foot high ice cream van !!! I'd be interested in your comments, folks ! But for now we are reluctantly cancelling my orders for bulbs. Cheers folks ! Bri

So happy for you guys claiming your future and proving that tyranny CAN be overthrown --- an iconic day for all of Europe, and hopefully the rest of the world will be inspired with the same courage. Very proud to be a part of these historic scenes. We - Queen - never forgot our history together, and as we speak, the restoration of the Queen live in Budapest video is nearing completion --- to be released this summer. This is a small repost of some old drawings I did for my admired friend @brianmayforreal . So many fascinating things have been happening—our return to the moon after so many years! Thanks to NASA and Artemis II, and there's been a lot of inspiration from our satellite. Brian has posted a lot about it too, so I wanted to repost my moon-related BriArts 💙 I hope you like them!!!
I feel a little sad that I don't have as much time to draw as I used to. Life never stops, and it's something I miss a lot, but I hope that one of these days I can sit down and continue doing this, as it's what I truly love and reminds me of who I am.
