Back in March I had the pleasure of leading this insanely talented team for the 25th Ultra Miami. We prepped for months, & this was one of the best years yet. An insane experience & so fun collaborating with this team! Here’s a BTS look on how we pull off a show like this. I know I say 60 seconds at the top but I just couldn’t feature all the amazing ppl it takes to do a show this size in just 60 seconds 🤗🎥🚀

16 years OLD!!!!!!!! I love that you always shoot me a half heart from across the room and I can never remember as quick how to complete the heart but you always remind me to do the peace sign first. I love how you ask “Can I lay here” when I’m just about to fall asleep and want to talk to me about deep philosophical things in bed. I love how you still love stuffed animals and bought a new one for your 16th Birthday even though we just had to vacuum seal 6 bags of them for our move. I love how insanely talented you are at so many things. Writing, Filmmaking, Acting, Crocheting, painting, drawing, sewing. I love how you don’t get sarcasm, but still have the most amazing sense of humor and how you make me and @brianhammers laugh. I love how hard you love your friends and animals and how deeply you feel. I know it’s not easy feeling this deeply all the time. I love how you remind me if I’m being unintentionally “misogynistic” 😅 I love how much you love music and going to concerts. I love that you love what clothes you love and don’t GAF if you wear a wool skirt and fur boots when it’s 75 degrees out because “it’s my favorite outfit and I want to wear it for my birthday” I love that you wanted to dress up in a prom dress with a tiara and go to Olive garden (for the fist time that you can remember) with your best friend for your birthday dinner even tho im a little sad I wasn’t invited. 🥺 I love that you make me take selfies all the time even at the most random times and I always find your selfies and random photos on my phone. I love that I get to be your Mama. I’m not sure where the last 16 years went because I swear you were just crawling across the carpet, but thank you for taking me on this journey. Happy 16th Birthday Amighlyn.

This is the opening of the pilot presentation but the last scene I wrote after realizing I needed a better cold open than what’s in the full pilot script. Wanted to really grab people’s attention with something that looked great as I pitch the show. My incredible DP, @willkamp , came through like a mofo with this. Along with the director @brianhammers It’s looks gorgeous. Thanks to the homie @wobberz playing the director lol. Crushed it.
