It's been a full year since we said goodbye to our blue-eyed chief of creativity and mischief, Mr. Brian Ewing.
It has been a journey of healing mixed with sorrow as the emptiness in our hearts lingers.
As we reflect on this day, we hold onto the lessons he taught us about genuine connection, selflessness, and the power of a good pun.
Though he may no longer be with us physically, Brian's spirit lives on. His legacy is a guiding light in our lives, reminding us to embrace each day with love compassion, and generosity.
While his social pages and website may have been relatively quiet over the past year, we are working diligently behind the scenes to preserve and honor Brian's legendary art and work. We will share more details in the coming months!
In honor of Brian, we encourage those who can to donate blood 🩸 — an incredibly meaningful act that saves lives, reflecting Brian's own spirit of giving and gratitude for the transfusions he received while in the hospital.

Then I’ll gesso the print.
Transfer the sketch to the gessoed area.
Finally, finish it off with ink and color - if it needs it.

Wow...what a blast from the past. I can't believe this is from 19 years ago!!!
This was the 2nd of 3 posters I got to design for @bouncingsoulsnj !!! #TheBouncingSouls were always a favorite band of mine. Aside from creating great and memorable music, they were always NICE people! I have a funny story about how I introduced my mom to the band at the 2004 warped tour. Can't wait to tell you that someday...
During this period of my life, I was doing a LOT of poster work for the almighty @thetroubadour . It was my art (and business) school. One of the perks of working for Christine and "the Troub" was that I got to go to shows for free!
I still remember how much fun these shows were! @hotwatermusicofficial killed it that night as well. At the end of their set, the Souls came out and they all did HWM's #TrustyChords".
Here's to hoping I'll get to do more work with @bouncingsoulsnj and @hotwatermusicofficial !!!
