Dis night will be truly a musical experience unlike anywhere else on a Tuesday. @rileylinc finds themselves separated from @brianboverkill on the BassBreakers journey home along the 140th parallel, thanks to a pesky Bass Gremlin hiding in the box of tums, but worry not. The night will be closed out in style with some deep 87/174 cuts from around the world. @strokefamilycreations will be joining us once again with the live painting and vendoring, and we’re adding more and more fun(ktional) pieces to our layout here at Industry Funktion! @dan_dara_kr kicks things off at 11pm!!! @w__h__y__s igniting the night at 1am, and @rileylinc comes calling for @brianboverkill to escape the thicket at 3am. Industry Funktion drops you deep into the week with our 6th straight showcase featuring the LA label boss and jungle warrior @w__h__y__s alongside @dan_dara_kr who has already begun the expedition to break into the swamp and will leave you there to discover the subharmonic rhythms of the Los Angeles underground. Resident BassBreakers @brianboverkill and @rileylinc have been led out of the desert by the Bass Gremlins and are enroute to a proper b2b along the 140th parallel to end the night. We here at Industry Funktion are grateful for every person who has come through to create this safe space and haven for underground music and nightlife culture, especially during such trying and tribulating times here in LA, through the nation, and abroad. We are here for the people, the music, and the community at large. We give thanks, love and appreciation to all the souls recently departed and to those close who move on without their physical presence. Music and art is human history, remembrance and revolution, and we at Industry Funktion stand to showcase that. With @strokefamilycreations and co bringing in live art, vendors and flow artists, and hopefully some more surprises.. this will be a true send off out of February and into March! Your support and love have been incredible over what we have been doing at Industry Funktion, and is truly heartwarming. We made this series in hopes of not only connecting but honoring and showcasing the incredible work every single soul in the nightlife/underground/rave/show/artistic scene puts into this crazy music filled world we love and adore.
