There was so much hope in the face of fear at this point. I can see the stress in his handwriting. We didn’t open for months after this projected pie-in-the-sky date, but we did finally open, obstacles be damned. We both owed a giant amount of grateful thanks to our friends in helping us get there. And an equally huge thanks to those same friends and our beloved community of patrons for keeping us going for 10 wonderful, horrible, mind-blowing years.
