Ragtime pt 1🗽✨ Baby. It is a gift to FAIL. To be challenged, to risk, to flop, to be sharp, to be flat, to crack, to fall forward, TO FIND IT!!!!….only to lose it again. To finally SOAR! Triumphantly! Freely! Without fear and without mercy!!!… just to fail again. REPEAT. It is a gift to learn that you just gotta keep showing up and doing your best. Thats how you grow. And, what a gift to grapple with material this rich, this juicy, this alive. THIS REFLECTIVE OF THE NOW. The kind that grabs you, and says, “Go harder.” Process is the party! And, I am so grateful to have found a place and a company that doubles as a creative playground. There is nothing I love more than celebrating my birthday on stage. May the calendar ALWAYS say “rehearsal” or “opening night” or “bri on set” on November 21st. May every year be a working birthday, amen and àse!
I’m surrounded by long time collaborators I adore, new friends and amazing artists I’m obsessed with, a relationship that is chef’s kiss, friendships flourishing, family thriving and growing… good shit just be running up on me at this point.
