What a blessing to be the vessel that brings a beautiful life into the world. One last time.
Just a few weeks and we get to meet this sweet girl and I become postpartum forever. I’ll never forget the magic of this season bringing our babies to earth. All the changes in my body felt so strange and uncomfortable in the first pregnancy and now years later they feel like special reminders that time will pass, our bodies change and age, and God orchestrates it all for good. How I love being a woman 🥰
How to put into words the heartbreak that is losing this special place… CycleBar Roseville was my “first baby” and the crushing reality that we are closing our doors honestly still hasn’t hit me. The feeling of public failure and guilt over this has been difficult to grasp. But I have said it a million times from the podium, failure is not a bad thing. It’s redirection. And keeping our doors open for 8 years is something I will always hang my hat on.
From the day we opened something about this studio just felt right. I didn’t realize that a room with stationary bikes would become such a beautiful community of people from all walks of life. In these walls I learned about resilience, leadership, how to operate a business with integrity, and how to rebuild when SHTF (ahem… Covid looking at you).
This community has also been a rock through so many seasons. From little single baby me with hopes and dreams to a mom and wife with my third on the way. I’m so grateful to have had this studio as a safe and supportive space through it all.
To everyone who has ever ridden with us: thank you. You’ve made these years unforgettable. The sweat, the laughter, the friendships, I will forever cherish the memories.
To my team in Roseville- a team I could not do this without. Thank you for everything you did to serve our community. Truly a dream team. Thank you for handling this gracefully and being such amazing people. I am always in your corner rooting for your success.
I’m stepping into this new season with deep gratitude and a full heart. If you want to continue supporting our business we are still operating midtown and are full speed ahead there. You may see some familiar names on the schedule and your support is always valued. My last time on the Roseville podium is Sunday at 7:45am and I would love to see you there ❤️
And my biggest takeaway of them all - It was 1000% worth it. Take the risk to pursue your dreams. Pray to God to show you the way. Celebrate your wins and learn from your losses. Build a team that believes in the vision. Bet on yourself. I would do it one hundred times again.
Miss Riley Mae is one year old today and our family is so blessed by her beautiful toothy smile, her contagious giggle, and her love for her brother. Sweet, gentle, easy going. I love this girl ❤️
