@ved_chaitanya
Drawing from a civilizational lens, his reflections emphasised patriotism as a lived responsibility rooted in dharma, cultural continuity, and national consciousness, extending beyond narrow political frameworks.
Representing Brhat, Cherish Rajpurohit
@cherishpurohit presented a paper titled:
“Modern Interpretations of Vedānta: Swami Chinmayananda and India’s Cultural Renaissance.”
The paper explored how Swami Chinmayananda rearticulated Advaita Vedānta for modern audiences while contributing to a wider cultural and intellectual renaissance in post-independence India.
One of the most enriching aspects of the conference was the opportunity to engage with scholars, monastics, and practitioners working across disciplines, all attempting in different ways to reconnect knowledge with lived civilizational frameworks.
In the presence of Swami Tejomayananda and Swami Swaroopananda, the conference also became a moment of reflection on the extraordinary institutional and intellectual legacy of Swami Chinmayananda over the past 75 years.
@swamiswaroopananda
His work continues to inspire scholarship, spiritual inquiry, and cultural confidence across generations.
