Just a little taste of what you can expect on Wednesday night - get along! Whether it's casting spells on the crowd, drinking their way into citizenship or just being gosh darn cute, we've got a bit of everything planned. Ticket link in bio!
And last but certainly not least for our show this Wednesday - it's the return of Jane New!
Jane started doing stand-up comedy in her 60s. She's been described as a dirty granny, a smutty senior, and "as pure as well-driven slush".
Much to her surprise, she won the Tasmanian heat of Raw Comedy in 2018. She's performed around Tasmania, in Brisbane and Melbourne, and took her one woman show "Old Woman in a Hurry" to Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2023.
She's currently aiming to set a new world record for comebacks.
What are you waiting for? Get a bloody ticket! Link in bio as always
Who else we got for Wednesday? I'll bloody tell you who. It's Elisa Ryan!
Elisa has recently become unsupervised. An empty nester with too much energy and a weakness for a new project, she serves up sharp takes on midlife, ambition and the logistics of starting over.
Grab a ticket. Grab your mum a ticket. Grab your neighbour a ticket. Grab the postie a ticket (then put a note in their letter box that says you tried to deliver it even though you clearly didn't because it would've appeared on the doorbell camera). See you on Wednesday!
An incredible addition to the lineup - it's the sauce king himself Alex Johnston!
Alex Johnston has employed an accountant to work out whether paying $400 a month for Mounjaro is offset by the amount of food he doesn’t eat.
Turn up on Wednesday for the verdict.
Grab a ticket while you can. See ya Wednesday.
As you know, we are always going above and beyond to find new acts for Brewlab and this time we've got a Swiss addition (who happened to message us given he's in town) - it's Remo Luzi!
Remo is a Swiss Backpacker on an open mic world tour which he uses to drink beers with locals and tries to make them laugh.
I reckon he's going to do both of those things. You should buy a ticket and find out though. Don't forget - head in early for a beer and a feed before we need to head into the brewery! Ticket link in bio.
6 sleeps until our next show comrades! How exciting. We've got a few new faces for you, and we're going to start with those. First up, making his Brewlab debut, it's Riley McDougall!
Riley doesn't have a bio, so he said I could write it.
Clean comedy. Politically correct references. Mild manners. These are all things Riley has never heard of. If you're keen to find out what the mind of that kinda guy is like - grab your tickets for Wednesday!
Ticket link in bio as always. See you at @brewlabtasmania - head in for a burger and several beers before the show.
Love you.
Do you like comedy? What about good blokes? What about the future of the Tasmanian education system? This guy is bringing all three, and you're going to love him. It's Mick Rennie!
Mick Rennie is quite possibly the perfect man. He is a feminist, incredibly fast over 10 meters and instinctively knows precisely how many seconds it will take a microwave to reheat any dish to perfection. Mick’s old man used to say, “if the dog hadn’t stopped for a shit, we would have had rabbit for dinner.” Well, Mick reckons if you don’t get a ticket to this Brewlab show, you’ll regret it for the rest of your life. Both sayings are excellent. Do it!!
Mick is a 4th year player on the Hobart comedy scene, but has been successfully entertaining himself for many years. Old, short with wildly fluctuating weight, Mick’s comedy blends the joys of fatherhood with a previous life filled with outrageous independence. He is happy to go wherever the truth takes him in the search for the meaning of life (and more importantly, laughs). Let no stone go unturned.
Get a ticket - our future DEPENDS ON IT.

Well, there's never a dull moment with this guy around - so you'd best make an appearance.
David J has occupied the throne of his own kingdom for years. He’s been selling his truth, unlike any other brand of truth. We all end up here, negotiating with our bodies and our bad choices. The image says “THE BEST SHIT,” and for once the ad isn’t lying. Brewlab — Wed 28 Jan, 7:30pm.

We've got a show coming up on Wednesday! How good is that?! You better get your butts to it. Come see the debut of Joshua Pillay!
Joshua is an expressive individual with a point of view that can only come from someone as seriously unserious as he is. If he was British, he’d say that he can take the mickey out of any part of his life, but he’s not British, so hopefully what comes out is mouth still sounds funny.

Next week at Brewlab! We'll just be having a bit of fun. Jack will be there. We love Jack.
Jack O'Sullivan is so beloved on the local comedy scene that he gets his own banners made for him.
Show's free, but you should grab a ticket anyway just so we can make sure we can fit you in. And if you want to donate so the crew/acts get a little Christmas gift, please do. Ticket link in bio
Guess who can't count days and therefore ran out of time to post all the acts separately? Not naming any names, but he's lucky he's good looking because he's not real smart and will be working the door tonight so come say hi! What we'll get instead is a crash course of everyone we missed so far real quick:
Mikey doesn't mean to be sexy, but he's a chubby, tattooed, bearded Canadian, so he can't help it.
Liam had a childhood dream of doing stand-up comedy and in 2024 he finally took the plunge. Liam has made a career out of saying helpful words and using analogises while working in mental health. Now he is channelling a family legacy of storytelling to entertain or at least, teach some fun facts.
All I got to post for Steve was “God amongst men 🙌🏻” - ok mate whatever helps you sleep at night.
A familiar face across comedy shows in Tasmania, Sally has fast become a fan favourite on the Apple Isle. Her honesty on stage helps Sally break down barriers with audiences. Sally can make the toughest subjects funny by detailing her life’s ups and downs before crashing crowds back to reality with her witty punchlines. Prepare to have your mind opened and your stomach muscles burning with Sally’s comical accounts.
What a STACKED show we've got for you tonight. TONIGHT. 26/11/25! Be there or be square. Get to @brewlabtasmania nice and early for a feed and a drink before heading into the brewery - show starts at 7:30. Love ya.
Joining us tomorrow night - it's the return (and possibly Thurs show for the year?) of the one and only Ben Richardson!
Ben is a sign language interpreter and comedian. He does jokes with his voice and his hands that you will see and hear, unless you are Deaf, or blind, or not at Brewlab this Wednesday.
What are you waiting for? Grab a ticket. Link in bio.
