We aren’t strangers, just reflections of ourselves, passing through each other in a glance.
Glance is a collection of fleeting moments. I’ve frequently had experiences of making eye contact with someone and imagining their entire life fly through my mind in vignettes, bringing them to that moment in time. It’s this notion of inherent sameness that I find to be much more compelling than difference. We all have our unique humanity, but are tied together by invisible strings.
