Last month, I was invited to speak on a panel at @windupwatchfair in New York about trends and watch culture, along with Meg Tocci and @cgriffinbartsch . It was my first time speaking in front of an audience since practice trials in law school, and I don’t think I sound like a complete idiot.

Look, I’m not saying I’m going to be some great dancer at 34, having only gone to 10 ballet classes now. But I’m having fun with it, occasionally get complimented by the instructor on my “gorgeous” feet (her words, not mine), and get to wear what Amazon has classified as “panties” in public lol 🧑🩰

Our baby boy is 13 today. This was a tough one emotionally for me. I may second guess a lot of things, but being his dad isn’t one of them. I love you so much, Murphy.
These past few days, I went to Bilbao to celebrate the announcement of the three-year collaboration between @museoguggenheim and eyewear brand @silhouetteeyewear . With just a total of 60 hours in the city, I felt I took full advantage of the time, which included:
- walking through the warren of tiny streets of Casco Viejo after checking in at @theartistbilbao and immediately heading to the sauna
- riding the Artxanda Funicular to see a panorama of the city at sunset
- seeing the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Bizkaia Bridge and the surrounding town
- wearing little outfits and fishing for compliments
- a private dinner at Michelin-starred @neruaguggenheimbilbao with @silhouetteeyewear , followed by a private museum tour
- celebrating at @museoguggenheim with a panel and cocktail reception to see the three new titanium styles from @silhouetteeyewear that were inspired by the titanium exterior of the Guggenheim (more on this for @surfacemag soon!)
- and, lastly, a glass of champagne to welcome me on my flight home and the start of an 8-hour workday from seat 8L 😅
Back to reality today, but more to come on this extravagant little blink-and-you’ll-miss-it trip. Cheers
