DAYTRIP
Scent run down on this candle. This is the most chill, calming vibe of the current four offerings.

Thanks so much to some shops I really dig, for carrying the new line of candles! If you live near them, check em out and support. Would not be possible without @nobladesnobows crushing the branding/art. Let’s see where else we can get in.

SLOW ROUTE.
Hello! I think most people here know me. However, I thought it would do a little intro and how this all came about (and of course for the algo). I’m a touring merchandise manager. While home during that rough year of 2020 I decided to try making candles. 1) as a hobby and something to pass the time, as well as make my own scents for my place. 2) to help all pals have some good scents at home (since we spent all days and nights there) on the cheap.
After getting requests from friends around the country, I created an Etsy store. Touring came back in late 2021, so I hit the road again. Since then, I’ve really only been able to open the online store a few times a year when I have enough time at home to make batches and get orders packed. But 4-5 years I’ve been able to collaborate and create custom scents for bands, a coffee shop, even making 1,200 in my living room for an official Prince pop-up in Chicago.
I pride myself in creating (hopefully) new scents by blending multiple oils and testing recipes. No scent that I sell has been copied (at least not intentionally) and nothing is just one scent direct from the bottle. Unfortunately, many brands that charge a lot more do phone it in, in that department.
With the pushing of some friends, I’ve decided to completely rebrand and try to do this more legit. I’ve been able to get some retail locations and hunting for more. If you or anyone wants to talk about collaborating on a special candle for your band, business, etc just hit me up. Remember to slow down, enjoy the small things, the side roads, the sunsets.

“Passenger” is my favorite scent I’ve created in a long time. One of the tops, in my book.
Golden Santal, Nutmeg, finished off with a bit of smoke. Honestly, I’d wear it as a cologne and it’s sexy as hell.

SLOW ROUTE. So much of everyday life is designed for convenience and quickness. Having some rituals to slow you down and make those spare moments enjoyable is what it’s about. Whether it’s your coffee preparations, a record on the turntable, a book in your favorite spot, hopefully a good scent can make those moments more magical. Remember, take that slow route, the side road, on the next journey. It’s often times the better view.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my longest running and best friend. Maggie, what the hell would I do without you?! While looking for old printed photos today I came across a letter from you that I don’t think I’ve seen or read in forever. It was 2005. We’d only been friends for a year when I left Atlanta and it was a “goodbye” letter with an album of photos you gifted me. The last line said “know that you have a friend for life in me, always, no matter”. And here we are 20+ years later😭. A lot of my best memories are with you. One of the best days I’ve lived, sitting on a rock in a river in Yosemite drinking Banquets (thank god you got those) with you. Thanks for making multiple birthdays so special by visiting me and doing what you do best- creating memorable moments. Seeing one of our favorite bands in an opera house in Chicago. The road trips and destination hangs, i’ll always remember. Seeing so much of CA together. To one of the most selfless people I know, incredibly talented artist, and true ride or die friend for her people- cheers. I love you and I can’t wait for more laughs with you. 💙 @maggieblair_
Gojira France 2025. Killer shows. 100k tickets sold across 12 shows. Most insane live production I’ve ever seen. Absolute boss mode crew. To be friends with so many of the people who pull this show off… it’s incredible to watch come together and be torn down, day in and day out. Stage manager dealing with trucks and forklifts and who loads what when, set carps who build a lot of the staging, riggers who get all the lighting and audio in the air, guitar and drum techs, tour mgr/prod mgr running the ship all day, prod coordinator handling all things crew related and and some band related things and getting us all checked into hotel rooms, waiting around on a day off until the last person has a room even if it’s 5p. Band assistant handling all things band related. LD and lighting team who put on this mindblowing show, video team, the ones running live cameras for the video walls, pyro team who makes all the insane fire rip every show, photographer/videographer. Monitor engineer and FOH. Been knowing some of these guys for 3 years now and it was amazing to see the 40 person team go full send on this show. Grateful to be a part of it. Thanks to @gojiraofficial .
