I pulled a @prince and played every instrument on this @michaeljackson tribute EP. I poured every ounce of me into this thing, from producing and recording to mixing and mastering, because that’s what Michael would do. I had a little help from my dear friend and MJ lover, @kendrachantelle for the Swahili parts on Liberian Girl. My favorite thing about this project is that my first born brilliant son @henleyhuntofficial took the photo and assisted me in designing the cover.
Michael Jackson is the reason I do anything in the entertainment space. I am grateful to have grown up in a time when MJ was the biggest thing on the planet and I’m happy my kids get to live in a time when MJ is still the biggest thing on the planet. Long live the KING!

Last week we took an impromptu trip to Tulsa to meet one of my favorite photographers, @henrydiltz . Even if you don’t know his name, you know his images. Look him up.
Henry is the kindest. He gifted Henley an image he took of Kurt Cobain and signed it for him, then walked him over to his Desperado album photo he took of the Eagles and pointed out his namesake, lying hogtied in the dirt. The second slide is an image he took of us on his phone. My favorite.
We hit up @gathertulsa and dropped by to see our friends at @tulsavintageco . My heart is full.
Just me, a mic, and a session full of waveforms.
Every sound you’re hearing started the old-fashioned way—produced, recorded, and performed by yours truly. No shortcuts, no ghost producers, no mystery files magically appearing in the session. Just hours of chasing tones, stacking vocals, fixing mistakes, and doing it again until it felt right.
In a time where music can be generated faster than it can be felt… I wanted to make something that actually lived a little. Imperfections, fingerprints, late nights and all.
No AI. No templates. No “type a prompt and call it art.”
Just a human being trying to honor something timeless.
(Also yes, I mixed it myself… so if you hear something weird, mind your business.)
This was all written by AI.
