This record represents so much to me. I’ve been a musician my entire life, playing instruments since I was 7 years old. As a DJ, I’ve always missed the feeling of being truly vulnerable while performing. I’ve missed rehearsing over and over and over again until I could finally get the performance right—I still remember how to play my 5th grade trumpet solo that I rehearsed and performed nearly 25 years ago.
Playing my music live has been a goal and dream of mine for years. I’m so excited to begin to realize this with We Can Go. I’ll always play DJ sets, but I’m excited to start playing my first full live sets soon.

We first met in NYC back in 2015, fast forward 10 years and @bren_lock_ sends me some demos. I changed a few things and we added a topline from @quincydavismusic , and suddenly things became… basically the same. But at least we have a track together now, listen through the link in stories!

Some thoughts on finding your “sound” as a producer… I believe your workflow—and the thousands of tiny decisions you make between the first idea and the completed record—is what makes one artist sound different from the next. Rarely does it have to do with the tools you have access to.

Brooklyn on film 🎞️
The best part about playing in my home city is spending the night with family and friends. Doing a pre-show team dinner, arriving to the venue together, probably finishing the rider too quickly… These are the people who have supported me from Day 1.
I’m done with shows for 2025, but can’t wait to play in NYC again soon.
