Last Friday my sweet Yoda peacefully went onto his next journey 🪽🌈 🥀 one month before his 13th birthday. This really is the end of an era. It will never be the same without him. I can't even say how much I loved this dog. He started the pug love and the pug life for me. He was the sweetest, nicest, funniest and most food obsessed angel I've ever seen. He never did anything wrong, you never had to worry about him running away or destroying something... he really just wanted to be there and was so happy with us. He didn't even know how to growl or what growling was in general. He just knew the good. Never knew anything evil or bad in his life. He was like a perfect, cute, cheese loving teddybear straight out of Disneyland. I feel so honored and grateful to have had him, to have been his mom and to have witnessed his whole life from a crazy puppy to an old, sweet, cheese obsessed man. He's the reason for all the pugs I rescued and will in the future.
I will love and miss him forever and he will always be my special first dog that I got to raise ❤️🔥 I'm so proud and happy that he had the best life, but I'm so sad that I won't be able to kiss or hug him ever again.

Last Thursday my soul dog died way, way too young. I’m not unfamiliar with death by a long shot but this was so sudden, we didn’t get nearly enough time with him and he didn’t get nearly enough time here. I say he was my soul dog not just cause, my wife is the one who pointed it out how he chose me and loved me so damn much. Hearing my name when I wasn’t home he’d wait hours looking out the window waiting for me.

He had such a hard life before we met him and when I saw how he was being treated I couldn’t leave him there… outside, nameless, in a cage just being used as the stud to make some fuckin asshole a little bit of money. So I took him and even tho we only had 341 days with him I’d still go back and do the exact same thing again if I could and feel this pain a million times.

The dude had so much personality the jokes, nicknames, songs, and the bond that flowed out of him was like a movie. Sucks the movie had to end so tragically. I’m having a very hard time accepting it… this post is an attempt at starting to accept.

I know we made him the happiest and I do find the tiniest bit of solace in that and that I could be with him as he passed but really it’s just another reminder that life is precious, that any one of our numbers can be pulled at anytime. I’m still looking for some meaning but I’m not there yet, it will take time.

He was @breena420 and I’s child, our lives revolved around him. So damn sweet and just loved being around us and getting pets, getting his food, going on walks, drives and doing absolutely anything with us. I’ll say it again THIS FUCKING SUCKS!!
