What I’m painting currently 🦋 obviously I’m in a butterfly phase right now.
Debating if I make this one an oil painting as well or leave it acrylic so I can finish it quicker. Or even just paint the butterfly with out to make it pop a bit more.
Still a work in Progress but I’m loving it so far
Putting together “THROUGHLINES” Art Show was probably one of the scariest things I’ve done.
What if no one shows up?
What if the work isn’t ready?
What if I’m not ready?
But then the night came.
The room was filled. People connected with the art. I played guitar. We talked about creativity, about process, about the through lines that connect us all.
And I realized this is what it means to create not just for yourself, but for community.
Thank you to everyone who showed up and made this night what it was.

I used to think my natural type 4 hair was so hard to manage but I realized I was just using the wrong products. I tried out this new technique called reverse styling. I blow dried my roots and defined the curls at the end to make it more stretched and bouncy 👩🏽🦱✨
