New Years is one of my favorite holidays because my sappy ass loooooves reflecting and dreaming. 2025 brought a lot of fear and loss. More than I’ve ever experienced maybe? But it also came with rewarding challenges, new skill injections, the joy of teaching, turning 30!!!!!! , many hours of touching grass with my sweetie pie friends, reconnecting with my younger self and all the things that pleased them, travel, an invigorating bolt of confidence, and so much love it’s overwhelming. Through the highs and lows, I’m obsessed with my little life and I can’t wait to see what it looks like at the end of 2026 🩷

Making this was a blast. I’ve been using the microwave kiln to melt scraps into cabs but this was my first time using it to fuse frit. It took a lot of trial and error but overall I’m so happy with the results. Can’t wait to put this technique to use again!

Lately I’ve taken to melting down my stained glass shards and turning them into cabochons to use for jewelry.
