Thursday, 6/25, day 1 of #RoadTrip2020, stayed in Las Vegas at the Four Queens. My rig was too tall to fit in the parking garage upper level. This Mensa candidate was unable to figure out how to let me park in one of the 14 unused placarded spots at the entrance of the garage. I spoke with 5 separate folks at the casino, but no one was allowed to make this kind of executive decision. Ended up parking in some open lot about 8 blocks away. What I can tell you is that old town LV looked like the set of the Walking Dead. Wow was it rough. I should add, the truck in this pic in Rancho. An earlier stop that day.
An unexpected trip to the Midwest, but what a wonderful welcome you get when landing in Indy! Had to wear the glasses, in a long day of airports I was hoping to catch a nap, but no luck this time. Furlough day 1 of 9, #furlough2020
Officially day 1 of 9 of furlough week 2020. Look at how empty John Wayne is! DIA was a ghost town, while Indy had absolutely no businesses open. Rough times for a lot of folks. #Furlough2020
First dinner out in a long time. It was nice to be out on the patio with live music again at Hennessey’s on Friday night. Celebrating the beginning of furlough week #furlough2020
