✍🏽🔥Where all the Creative writers who are also hip-hop fans 🎧🙂↕️ at? The next BRED Hip-Hop Monologue and Scene Writing Workshop is around the corner. Led by @shawnbscribe participants will explore BRED hip-hop theatre devising techniques and begin drafting (or revising) their own hip-hop monologue or scene.
We will have a list of storytelling rap songs to choose from as prompts for your creative writing or feel free to bring your own song(s) to craft your script. This workshop is designed for writers of all skill levels so leave the egos at the door. This is just creativity at its essence — raw, experimental, real.
Light refreshments will be provided.

Shoutout to everyone who came out to celebrate Dilla Day by making music, friends and exploring the music of J Dilla to create their own new grooves. The beat that you hear was created today by a workshop participant (his first beat btw!!!) using classic samples that Dilla used to create iconic hits.
