To end the week, we want to express our gratitude to one of our wonderful funders, The Lola Wright Foundation.
With their support for our Student and Family Support Fund, students can continue to focus on their educational goals.
The Student and Family Support Fund provides emergency support for the most pressing needs, giving our Breakthrough families relief when they need it most.
Once again, thank you to The Lola Wright Foundation.💙

Our Advocacy Fellows took a trip to Washington, D.C. for the National College Attainment Network (NCAN) Leadership Summit ✈️
The practice of student-led advocacy was put into practice. Advocacy Fellows trained in storytelling, policy strategy, and effective advocacy, then took those lessons directly to Capitol Hill.
When meeting in these congressional offices, they were advocating for one of the most important tools for college affordability: the Pell Grant.

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away…
We started our first summer program. Now, Breakthrough Central Texas is prepping for our 25th summer!
Thank you to our BT community for supporting our students these past 25 amazing years, and may the Force be with you 💫
We’re thrilled to announce that Breakthrough has received support from Raising Travis County (RTC), a voter-approved initiative expanding access to affordable child care and high-quality out-of-school time programs.
With this support 300 new middle school students will be able to experience Breakthrough's after-school, Saturday, and summer programming. This partnership is more than funding—it’s a gateway to opportunity, growth, and discovery for students across Central Texas as they begin their Breakthrough Experience.
