Breaking the Binary (BtB Burlesque)

As a reminder... February of 2026 will be the Diversity Boycott! We and over 300 allies are standing up against the lack of Black representation in the Burlesque Community. Black performers deserve better treatment and pay within this space, FULL STOP. The amazing @cocoa_pearlesque is spearheading this boycott and you can find all additional information and frequent updates on her page. If you are a fellow ally and would like to fill out the form and add your name to the list of those who already joined, please follow the 🔗 in our bio! If you have already signed on, now is the time to stand up and speak out. If you see something, say something. Call out a lack of diversity. Call out your fellow performers who haven't stood up against exclusion. Call out producers that haven't handed over their February productions. There's no reason not to do the right thing. More importantly than anything else, allow the space for Black performers and producers. Let them speak. Let them lead. This is not about white voices or tears. Its about building up those who have been silenced. . 🌀PERFORMER SPOTLIGHT🌀 If @madame_ivy_dissent had a nickel for every time she's licked a sharp object on stage, she'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice. She's also served GILF on three separate occasions, twice as Granny once as Gandalf. Queen of body painting for the bit, Madame Ivy can't wait to peel back her layers for you this show.
