Cheers to 7 years in the LAnd 🌴☕️🎤. On 4/16/2019 I packed my bags and moved from Miami to LA to pursue a career in journalism & it has been an incredible journey. I can’t say that I didn’t wanna quit and go back home often (ready to now fr 🤷‍♀️) or that this was easy in the slightest but every single lesson, blessing, and experience has been worth it. I never knew my love for music and sharing my life lessons and testimonies would get me here but I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. God, thank you for letting me see so many of my wildest dreams become reality. Thank you for seeing me through every obstacle that popped up on this journey.. for protecting me in situations that I put myself in and for your favor that has never failed to follow me. Every single thing that I’ve spoken or prayed for has come to pass and some are on the way (literally check the dates + captions in the screenshots for the receipts). I was ready to run from it.. but thank God for my support system who reminded me that it always gets tough right before the breakthrough.. DONT QUIT. POV: Everything is falling apart but you still have to show up for yourself 🙂‍↕️. Everything in me wanted to stay home, but I’m glad I didn’t. I needed the kind words, the movement, the hugs, and the fresh air. I won’t lie, during the event I still had moments… shed a few tears and had to step away for sec (not everything gets recorded). But by the time I left, I felt lighter and uplifted. Reminded that what’s happening is happening for me, not to me.
