Remember the other day when I introduced you to Toots, aka Petunia, the bunny rescued off the side of the mountain? And I told you we were going bunny speed dating? Well… she chose Moose 🥹
Let me introduce you to Moose, who I daringly call “Moose, my cow bunny named after another animal.” That’s his government name. We’ll call him Moose for short 😂🐮🐰
Look at him. Have you noticed his tiny little eyebrows? I cannot handle it.
Moose’s backstory is a little different. He wasn’t dumped on the side of the road or abandoned in a field like some of my other rescues, but honestly, his story still breaks my heart. He spent 3 to 4 years living in a tiny cage. That means this sweet boy literally never learned how to bunny. So now he’s very excitable, very curious, very energetic… and yes, very humpy 😭😂
Before anyone asks, yes, he is neutered and has been since December. We are NOT trying to make more bunnies. The whole point of rescue is helping the ones already here who need love and a second chance 🩷
Bonding him and Toots might take a little longer than my other bunny couples, but honestly? I’m already completely smitten with him.

She got the name Petunia because the very first day I rescued her, she ate half a petunia plant while she was waiting for me to pick her up 🌸😂
Fun fact: she was dumped on the side of a mountain like trash. But look at her now. She is the sweetest little thing.
So many people think bunnies belong in cages, but they are incredibly social animals and thrive with companionship, enrichment, and love. As an animal rescuer, it’s my job to make sure they live the happiest and healthiest lives possible. And sometimes that means… getting your bunny a bunny 💕
I have three girl bunnies, and girl bunnies are not always the easiest to bond because they can be very territorial. Usually male/male or male/female bonds are easier. My other two rescue buns that we rescued from a field both found their hus-buns and are living their best bonded lives 🥹
So today… Toots is going on bunny speed dating 🐇💘
Yes, you heard that correctly. I am officially that person taking my bunny to meet three potential hus-buns 😂
