Baking can be tiring, but it’s never boring!
Every day is a fresh start, and when we put in the effort, life gives us something to smile about. Just like everything coming out of the oven this morning. Sending you all positive vibes.
Happy Sunday everyone!
Hi bread friends,
We’re few steps away from saying goodbye to the Snake year. Soon we will all sneak in our own corners to recharge for an exciting new year – the Year of the Horse!
But first, we hope to see you until next Sunday, February 8th, our last opening day before Tet.
Then we’ll return on Friday, February 27th.
So next week, our ovens will run even harder to produce plenty of delicious bread and pastries.
See you!
We’re hiring
Breadventure is looking for passionate full-time bakers to join our team.
We’re looking for someone with 1+ year of experience in a professional kitchen, comfortable with baking equipment, and genuinely interested in working with sourdough bread and pastries.
Curiosity, care for the craft, and a willingness to grow with us matter just as much. We’re hoping to find someone who can commit for the long term
If you enjoy working with dough and believe good bread takes time, we’d love to hear from you.
Please send your CV to [email protected]
Thank you! We are looking forward to meeting you.
A busy-ness-as-usual Saturday met with an unanticipated power outage.
The power was out at 09:00. The customers were forming the line, the second batch of baguettes were still half-baked in the ovens, and we had only managed to bake one fifth of the day’s breads.
The outage lasted for 8 hours. All the remaining dough prepped for today had to be thrown away. Even the sourdough loaves for Sunday were at risk being wasted.
The team scrambled to find solutions. We were lucky to get help from our friends at Cafe Slow, who help us store the doughs in their kitchen.
We lost over a hundred of baguettes and easily thousands of neurons after a frantic day. What saved us is the support from our dear customers, our wonderful team, partners and friends. Thanks to you, even when the power is out, we don’t feel powerless.
Thank you for staying with us, and see you tomorrow in a hopefully power-full day with fresh-full breads.
Join our bread-loving family!
