I interviewed in this parking lot for a lab job at the beginning of COVID (who knew!)
I got really good at using Google sheets, got addicted to startup culture, burned out (often), more or less dropped off the planet, finally got laid off, and now I feel ten years older. It’s been a wild ride, and to say I was lucky is an understatement (both for the opportunities and for the amazing and wonderful people I got to meet and work with - it’s the friends you make along the way etc etc)
Three weeks into 2023 and I’m slowwwwwly starting to recognize myself again, but don’t really know where I want to go from here, don’t really know where I want to be, and don’t really know where the last two years went. Mostly I miss everyone and just want to ride bikes or something.
Here’s some hits from the last 2 1/2 years, let’s hang out in the real world soon.
Spent the last week driving through Washington and Montana and Idaho and Nevada and California
shuffling, shuffling
moving around
like the magpies
and cows dancing in the grass
