In approximately 13 hours,
@riot_course will release their newest EP. This release will contain six songs that at the time of writing this, I personally believe to be not only their best material yet but also some of the best songwriting and sound to come out of the Michigan scene yet. I do have some personal bias with the glaring fact that I am currently in a relationship with their lead singer, however I still believed in their ability to output work of this level far before Kate and I even held hands for the first time. This band is really special, and it’s been the biggest honor working with them behind the scenes on helping co-direct the visual aspects of their new art direction. There is a music video being released tomorrow that I helped direct and visualize alongside
@daddydadlegs and
@tonyarroyophoto for the first song off of this EP and soon afterwards you all will see some brilliant BTS photos from visual powerhouse
@brayimage616 . All of this alongside my standard photo work has been the culmination of the last three months of my life. I’m excited to present to you what I’ve been up to, but even more so excited for everyone to hear what this incredible band has been up to. Thank you, Riot Course. You were one of the first bands to bring interest in my work outside of the Bay City area and with how close we’ve all gotten, I doubt anyone will have the chance to turn away from any future endeavors we take on separately and together.
“Before You Can Say Knife” is just the start.
