Moments from my birthday weekend getaway to Portland. If you’re planning a trip there soon, feel free to steal my itinerary below:
Friday:
Check into the
@longfellowhotel .
Head downtown and explore for the afternoon.
Grab a pre-dinner drink at the newly opened
@elizabethwharfstreet and say hi to
@wayotte91 (we miss him in Boston).
Walk over to
@papiportland for dinner. The food, cocktails, and vibes were everything. Special shoutout to our waitress Monica.
Head back to the hotel for a nightcap at
@fiveofclubsmaine . Highly recommend the wilde grey gimlet.
End the evening with a bath.
Saturday:
Wake up and head next door to
@tandemcoffeeroasters for coffee and their biscuits. Simply unreal.
Spend the day shopping around the city. A few of my favorite spots:
@viandmercantile
@portlandtradingco
@portlanddrygoods
@blancheandmimi
@soleilmaine
@campfirepottery
@boldmagshop
Lunch at
@eventideoysterco . A lobster roll is a must when in Portland.
Do a little more exploring downtown.
Cozy up by the window at
@streetandco_ for drinks and maybe a dessert.
Dinner at
@crispygai . The fried chicken here is no joke.
Walk over to
@cutiesportland for drinks.
Then head to
@_room_for_improvement_ for a nightcap.
End the night with pizza from
@offtrackpizza .
Sunday:
Grab an iced latte downstairs from
@twinflowercafe .
(The hotel also offers complimentary drip coffee for guests.)
Head back to the suite for one last bath and pack up.
Grab lunch to go from
@twinflowercafe . Their namesake bowl is incredible.
Take the hotel’s complimentary luxury car service to the Amtrak station and hop on the
@amtrakdowneaster back to Boston. It only takes about two and a half hours, and tickets are reasonably priced.
Any other Portland spots you’d add to the list?
