Throwback to 8 years ago today. This was at the Iron Fork and I was announcing the secret ingredient, plantains. The funny part about this was the joke that I don’t think many people got. There was this new delivery platform that was just getting started. They were sponsor of the event. I thought it would be funny if I went up, and acted like I forgot the secret ingredient. Then, I pulled out my cell phone and called postmates, and they would deliver it. In the photo you see a guy and a basket. He rode up on a bike with the plantains in the basket. NO ONE KNEW WHAT POSTMATES WAS, or what I was doing. Crazy to think about our world and how fast it moves just 8 short years later. Shout out to US Foods for always being an awesome sponsor of that event, and for letting me run it. Cheers!

After 8 incredible years, today I officially close the chapter as Director of Operations for Mere Bulles and Green Hills Grille.
What a run.
What a team.
What a season of growth.
During that time, we built intentional systems, strong culture, and real operational discipline.
For nearly 6 years, Nashville Restaurant Radio has pulled me into another calling: serving the broader local restaurant community.
The truth is — most independent operators can’t afford a full-time Director of Operations. And that gap is hurting our industry.

It’s bittersweet, but I am over the moon excited to start this next chapter!
Twenty years ago today, I stood next to the most incredible woman I’ve ever known and promised her forever. What I didn’t realize then was just how much joy, laughter, growth, and love those years would hold.
Through every high and every challenge, she has been my partner, my anchor, my biggest cheerleader, and my very best friend. Together, we’ve built a life full of memories, adventures, and a love that only gets stronger with time.
