I had a full circle moment this past week while shooting the Curling Canada U-20 Nationals here in Sudbury.
I curled growing up, then quit in grade 10 because I didn’t think it was cool. I remember my coach, Mrs. Beers, telling my friend JP that I could’ve done something with my life if I stuck with it.
I took 19 years off and started back up a few years ago. Curling is fun, but more than that, it’s the most supportive and welcoming community I’ve ever been a part of.
It might just be the best way to spend a Canadian winter.
Porchetta di Sudbury is officially out!
This documentary celebrates the rich Italian-Canadian tradition that has shaped Sudbury for generations. From family kitchens to community banquets, porchetta has become so much more than a meal. It’s a story of heritage, identity, and the people who keep these traditions alive.
Thank you to everyone who shared their time, stories, and passion to make this film possible. Your support means the world.
