Angel Boy is out today from @thomasdaymusic . I have been listening to these songs non stop for 3 months. Thomas wrote these on planes and in cars and at his piano at home. It’s his deepest and most personal work yet. Three new songs with @natecmiles the most goated collaborator. Thank you for working your butt off on these and flying to Atlanta to finish this EP and cook us eggs benny. Plus one very special track with @nlambroza & @spidermelk . Special s/o @sam_french___ @danpetel @jeremy_groves @james.petronio @zekethemayor and mostly @jchefner for my sanity. Thomas, this is your life and it’s happening now. I’m so proud of you and what’s to come.

In 2021, my father Jay was diagnosed with ALS. Despite a difficult couple of years for my family and I - watching the progression of his disease and adapting to our new normal - my dad is still going strong. My dad shows up with a positive attitude (almost) every day. He enjoys time in the backyard, taking walks (rolls?) around the block with my mom and Baxter, and gossiping with all of the neighbors. He got a van this year from ALS Ride for Life which has reawakened his world and thirst for the most simple of experiences. He takes short rides to the park or to the grocery store with my mom, and longer rides into the city to roll around the Upper West Side and visit his grand-nephew Cameron. I am so proud of him for facing this chapter of our lives head on, and am most proud to be his son. This is the 2nd year my family and I will participate in the Long Island Walk to Defeat ALS. The dollars we raised together last year helped make a difference in continuing the research and services benefiting people with ALS and their families. If you’re able to make a nominal donation, I’d very much appreciate it.
