RUN dropping on the 22 of May
There are moments in life where staying feels heavier than leaving. And in those moments, choosing distance is choosing strength. Healing doesnât always look like fighting⌠sometimes it looks like walking away, resetting, and coming back with clarity, purpose, and peace.
The truth is, everyone is facing something. In different ways, weâre all runningâsometimes without even realizing it. And that doesnât make us weak. It makes us human. It means weâre trying, weâre surviving, weâre finding our way through what we carry.
Thatâs why Run Boy matters. Itâs more than just a songâitâs a reflection of that feeling we donât always say out loud. The urge to escape, the pressure to keep going, and the search for something real in the middle of it all. It gives that emotion a voice, and reminds us that weâre not alone in it.

From the @ifas.southafrica | FĂŞte De La Musique stage to the Bassline Fest Brandon brings his aura every time!
Catch the vibe, feel the journey and buy your tickets @webtickets
@brandon.aura Brandon Aura is a Zimbabwean-South African indie folk artist who makes music like a confession â raw, cinematic, and impossible to ignore. Rooted in musical theatre, his songwriting is narrative-driven and deeply personal, giving voice to the stories and perspectives that mainstream music leaves behind.
His journey to South Africa in 2002 wasnât easy. When xenophobic unrest swept the country in 2007, music became his refuge â and ultimately, his calling. That experience of navigating life as a foreign national continues to shape everything he creates, from meditations on identity and belonging to anthems of resilience and social justice.
Brandonâs sound sits at the intersection of indie folk and soul â honest, introspective, and emotionally alive. His influences span Ed Sheeran to London Grammar, though his roots run deeper. Now, heâs pushing into new sonic territory, weaving his African heritage into Afrotech and Afrohouse to build something both timely and timeless.
More than an artist, Brandon Aura is a storyteller with something real to say and the voice to
say it
