MOULD FESTIVAL X PINOT PALOOZA 2026 An iconic pairing returns this May as Mould Festival and Pinot Palooza come together once again for a weekend dedicated to exceptional cheese and world class Pinot. Happening Friday 22 to Sunday 24 May at John Reid Pavilion, this highly anticipated event follows a completely sold out 2025 and is set to return bigger and more indulgent than ever. Showcasing over 200 varieties from leading producers across Australia and beyond, the experience is designed for grazing, sipping, and discovering something new at every turn. STYLED TO INSPIRE At the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron Wedding Expo, we brought three styling packages to life - each showcasing different tones, textures and design approaches to suit a variety of preferences. From lighter, more romantic palettes to timeless and aesthetic neutrals, each look was designed with intention so couples could clearly see how different elements come together to create a cohesive overall feel. A central lounge pod and backdrop feature acted as the heart of the space, drawing guests in and creating a strong visual moment, while the champagne tower added that final layer of sophistication and celebration. The result was a space that felt immersive, elevated and thoughtfully considered from every angle. THREE LOOKS, ONE SPACE For the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron Wedding Expo, we transformed the space with three distinct styling concepts, each built around its own colour palette and style. Every look was designed to feel cohesive yet completely different - allowing couples to move through the space and connect with a style that genuinely reflected their vision rather than trying to imagine it. To bring the entire room together, we introduced a curated lounge pod and statement backdrop feature, creating a central moment within the space. Paired with a champagne tower, it added a refined and interactive element that elevated the overall experience. EXPO READY STYLING We recently styled the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron Wedding Expo, curating three different table looks designed to reflect a range of styles and colour palettes. From soft, romantic tones through to a neutral, classic aesthetic, each package was intentionally layered with thoughtful details so guests could truly visualise what felt aligned with their day. The hero of the space was our lounge pod and backdrop feature, designed to anchor the room and create a natural focal point for guests to gather, sit, and experience the styling in a more immersive way. This was complemented with a champagne tower, adding that elevated, celebratory finish and bringing a sense of movement and occasion into the space. THE ART OF ADAPTATION Shine Lawyers’ Brisbane event at Victoria Park was brought indoors due to rain - transforming what could have been a disruption into a defining design moment. With the environment reframed, the focus shifted to creating warmth, depth and atmosphere through considered styling choices and spatial balance. The indoor setting offered an opportunity to refine the experience, resulting in a space that felt both elevated and immersive. An outcome that proves great events aren’t defined by conditions, but by how they’re reframed to enhance the experience. RETHINKING THE BRIEF At Victoria Park, weather prompted a last-minute move indoors for Shine Lawyers’ event - shifting the brief from open-air celebration to a more curated interior experience. This allowed for a stronger focus on layout and atmosphere, with each element positioned to create natural interaction points and a cohesive flow across the space. A reminder that sometimes a change in direction can elevate the overall outcome.
