Braindance is a DIY late night event specialising in UK Funky, Broken Beat and percussive dance music, run by @lila_cusset and the team here at Eiger and Book Club since 2021.

You may have seen him featured on lineups for Shambala, Lost Village, We Out Here… with either his live band or going solo on the decks. He really is one to watch. With an exceptional catalogue of music and infectious rhythmic selections, trust me, you won’t stop dancing.

London local KOJAY, who will be blessing us with his sweet soulful house and bruk selections, as heard on his Balamii residency or from his sets at some of our favourite parties and festivals across the country.
Duo, CXLI, who perfectly blend UK Funky, UK Bass and Latino selections, bringing absolutely infectious energy to their sets.
Amazing selector BIBI, who is making her debut appearance at Braindance and who’s music taste never fails to blow you out of the water.

We are back for a summer send off on the 23rd June!! For this one we keeping it cheap and cheerful with a big big family b2b and LOTS of good funky soulful music to get you grooooving🥰 Taking it back to the braindance roots for a farewell to some brilliant faces leaving Leeds along with a celebration to the ones who are staying! Expect Braindance Residents and special guests.

What to expect on The WOW Barn site…
Food stalls from the delicious @yorkshire_pizzaco and @dapurmalaysiauk@womenfriendlyleeds will be parking their safe space night bus on site. If you feel unwell or unsafe at any point, need help calling a taxi or have an incident to report, please approach the Women Friendly Leeds trained staff for help.
There will be a Chill Out tent open, equipped with beanbags, blankets, cushions and toys for children!

All ages are welcome to Braindance on Saturday, but be advised that there will be bars serving alcohol on site.
