Thanks to @louisalevy for creating such a fun show, and thanks to her and @ginafattore for not only giving me this amazing opportunity, but also putting together the loveliest team to work with.
This is the first time in years that my name has appeared on screen and it’s only because Heidi McAdams and Mike Weiss took a chance on me. It has truly been one of the honors of my career to write for/with them. They’re brilliant and special people who care so much about every single person who works on the show. I have no idea where they store their seemingly endless energy but that’s a mystery for another time.
It was also one of the great joys of my life to work with so many amazing writers who each brought their personalities and genius to every page written. It was a truly humbling experience.
Also, I will never get tired of hearing my words come out of the mouths of so many amazing actors. This entire cast is stacked. Literally, all of them are gorgeous, and intelligent, and kind (I personally thought you could only pick one of those, but that’s my mistake). I’m so excited for you to see all of their journeys as the story progresses. Each of them shines like the diamonds they are.
Oh and did I mention how perfect the directing is, how absolutely mind blowing the music is, how gorgeous the costumes are and how stunning the production designs are? The amount of passion everyone brought to this episode (and series) is staggering, and I’m in awe of all of their crafts. Seriously, I have no right to be working with such giants.
Anyway, all this is to say (to twist a quote from the episode), I love everyone everywhere all the time.
