I have art work in the March Carter-Sexton Art Show.
This month's theme is "Funny" and I have two weirdly humorous pieces on display.
The show opening is tomorrow, Saturday, April 4 between 5pm and 7pm.
I won't be in attendance as I am helping a friend in Houston with a low budget indie feature film. (More on that in good time!)

"My end goal is to drop dead on set in my 100s or 110s."
A Houston-born cinematographer who won an MTV Video Music Award for Moby's "We Are All Made Of Stars," worked with Britney Spears, Eminem and Nelly, and once sent his demo reel to potential clients accompanied by a six-pack of beer to make it stand out. Painfully shy since childhood – he once sat in a car and cried rather than go into a 7-Eleven alone – and still shy underneath, just better at hiding it. He wore a Vincent Van Gogh t-shirt to dinner. We went fully vegan at Fare Well on H Street: polenta fries, seitan southern fried "chicken" and a brownie sundae he could only manage a spoonful of due to migraines. I finished it. It was extraordinary.
