Procreate: IPad Paint Study. Messing around with some color and different techniques. I was challenging myself with this by trying to use an image as inspiration but totally change the lighting and color. Posted both refs here and the beginning timelapse. #digitalpainting

iPad M4: Procreate. “Fury” Wish I could say this was easy but I really struggled here. Still not really satisfied, but to avoid endless noodling calling it done. Figured I’d share mostly just to show the good with the bad. #digitalpainting
Curious if anyone can name the likeness and or film at this early painting stage? This is probably the most challenging/ fun part of my digital painting process (iPad/procreate). It’s nothing new, it’s basically Alla Prima painting technique, but done digitally. As a study, I try not to use digital tools that makes this easier since it’s really all about learning. I will post the end result in the next couple days. This is about 45min into painting. #digitalpainting
