Today June 5th, is dad’s birthday… and today we fulfill his final wishes of being return home. I hope you are dancing with angels and having a party up there! Thank you for everything you’ve given me, thank you for everything you’ve taught me. Goin on without you is hard… but I will live the rest of my days honoring you and taking care of our family. Love you dad!

Had scheduled a class awhile back with some friends.. haven’t left the house all week due to my dad passing.. and almost didn’t have the heart to go to this… but I’m glad I got out there this weekend to train with Fabio @ myowndefender pistol dominance class. Learnt a lot about myself and specific areas I need to work on to shoot better overall. #9mmtherapy #bigtexordnance

Many thoughts, many memories… many words… many conversations going through my mind today. I’m fighting through this heartbreak to say something…. It’s definitely a sobering moment when one has to let go of a parent.
However, This is the way I choose to remember you.
Just like when you gave me my first watch at 16..
And on this particular day you said to me…. “when I go, my tools will be yours.. take care of them”… because you knew how much I loved working on my car…and in turn, this was a big deal to me because I knew what your tools and grandpas tools meant to you….
But most importantly what it meant for me, was that you gave me all the tools I needed in life to be a good son, a good brother and a good husband.. and a good person for those around me. These are the lessons, I treasure the most about you and will always hold dear to my heart.
May you rest easy dad… I’ll take care of mom and the rest from here.

Introducing Buddy…
he’s a bundle of joy and a rescue. We knew that eventually Chewie would be lonely and want a brother… and this time we wanted to rescue because of the many families giving up their dogs post covid!
Buddy is a 1.5yr mini golden doodle… and has the tiniest legs.. he’s joyful all the time and is mighty for his size. We love him dearly.. and my heart is full as we are now a family of 4. 💕💕
