Textbooks and professional literature (educational and training materials, dictionaries, handbooks). @themostbeautifulpolishbooks Jury statement: „Nieoswojone pojęcia. Słownik pojęć postfotograficznych does not resemble a traditional dictionary in form; rather, it presents a deconstruction of the lexicon as such. The soft cover with exposed spine already evokes the idea of a “post-dictionary”. The same applies to the front cover, where an unconventional design decision places an illustration of one of the entries – an example of postphotographic imagery – in the form of a blind embossing on a white background. This is paired with minimalist typography: the names of the contributors are arranged on the cover as though forming an index – typically located inside a book. The interior elaborates on this conceptual premise: the definitions intermingle with visual works in a layout that feels fluid and visually light. The publication is notable for its subtlety – the subject of post-photography is interpreted with creative restraint, free from any overt aesthetic effect. What might otherwise have been a search for flashiness is replaced here by a conscious and coherent unity of form and content.” Nieoswojone pojęcia.
