Motherhood is wild. 🤍 Balancing being a Mama and a professional ballerina is something I never could have fully imagined until I was living it. Most days it feels so hard to manage both worlds at the same time. Finding the motivation and energy to keep myself in tip-top shape can feel nearly impossible—especially when workouts are squeezed in between picking up toys, playdates, preschool pickup, making lunches, running around the playground, and being on my hands and knees all day long. Sometimes during my one-hour break, all I want to do is curl up and take a nap or watch a show. 😴 But I also know that moving my body is truly the best thing I can do for myself—mentally, physically, and emotionally. And let’s talk about the mom guilt…it is SO real. Leaving for even one hour is SO hard for me when my girlies are just that cute. 🥹 Mamas—how are you all staying motivated and taking care of yourselves while juggling it all? 💕 And yes, I’m 4 years into motherhood and still trying to figure it all out… but showing up, doing my best, and giving myself grace along the way.

we’re exhausted by this point but the music and the urgency of this step just keeps us going! Always so fun to challenge ourselves…and thanks to our conductor for waiting that last note — Balanchine’s “The Nutcracker” at @nycballet #Ballet #Tchaikovsky #TheNutcracker

It’s hard to put into words just how special today was. One of those days I know I’ll remember for the rest of my life. Getting to dance the Sugarplum Fairy at New York City Ballet has always been a dream come true, but somehow dancing it for the last time with my two baby girls in the audience, made it even more perfect than I could have ever imagined. The way Riley lit up when she got to hug Mama backstage is a memory I will replay in my mind forever. And even though Aubrey may not remember it in quite the same way, I’ll always remind her that she was the one dancing in my Sugarplum belly two years ago :) I’m so thankful for all 50—yes, 50—family members and friends who took time out of their busy holiday schedules to be there for me today. Thanks to my best friends in the whole world for watching from the wings. @jovani.furlan , thanks for holding me up and making me feel perfect onstage. And especially to my family, thank you for being my greatest cheerleaders, always. 🤍✨ Going to bed with a smile on my face and a twinkle in my heart. ✨

Stepping back into Nutcracker rehearsals this year feels extra special. ✨ The magic of this season never gets old and I’m so excited to be dancing as the Sugarplum Fairy one last time. It feels bittersweet to share that I’ve decided to retire from NYCBallet in the summer of 2026. After 20 years with New York City Ballet, it will definitely be a huge life adjustment. This company, the stage, and the incredible people I’ve danced with have shaped so much of who I am. Dance will always be a part of my life—there’s no part of me that could ever let it go. But becoming a mom has truly been the best thing in the entire world. My girls are my whole heart, and I’m excited for this next chapter…to be with them, to soak up every moment, and to spend every second I can watching them grow. Feeling grateful, emotional, and very ready for what’s ahead. ♥️✨

✨ There really is something so magical about Disney ✨ We had the best week filled with sunshine, laughter, and endless happiness. There’s something so special about seeing it all through the eyes of a child — it truly makes everything even more magical. I felt like a kid all over again, all week long. 💫 I only wish time would slow down because it went by way too fast. But what a week it was — pure joy from start to finish. 💛
