Amy & Caileigh crossed off two never before visited states this week - Oregon and Washington! We started the week off in San Pedro, California then took a quick flight up to Portland, Oregon. After we wrapped, we drove up the PCH to enjoy the views and the pine trees. And we finished our trip with a quick 10 minute drive across the bridge to Vancouver, Washington where we enjoyed a lovely breakfast before heading home. It’s been a great journey!
We had the best time with our friends at @accessuagency at Cuyahoga Communtiy College in Cleveland, Ohio! It was a fantastic few days with some of our favorite people 😀

The Boyd Pearman team was honored to capture the stunning Towers at The Cardinal in Raleigh, North Carolina — a visionary project by THW Design for Kisco Senior Living.
We dedicated over two weeks to meticulously document the 19-story project, showcasing its unique features and spaces. Our stunning images not only highlighted THW’s incredible design but also earned numerous industry awards and recognition.

In 2021, incredible growth emerged from a unique challenge. A long-time client and friend asked us to create custom artwork for one of their office refresh projects. We accepted—knowing it would push us beyond our usual production comfort zone. For the first location, we scouted, photographed, curated, and installed eight large-scale custom prints. Each piece was created in a region of the city where the office is located, but avoided traditional landmarks. Some works are abstract enough to leave viewers guessing, while others aim to evoke nostalgia—or even humor, especially in our bathroom installations.
To date, we’ve completed 16 installations, with two more scheduled for 2025. This creative challenge has stretched our capabilities and broadened the scope of what Boyd Pearman can do. Having a client trust us to shape the visual identity of their space is one of the greatest honors of our work.

We had an absolute blast in 2023 during our shoot at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Resort in Pennsylvania, where we dove headfirst into the Halloween spirit! Not only were we capturing all the magic as photographers and videographers, but our amazing teammate Robyn went above and beyond—transforming an entire cabin into a spooky Halloween wonderland. From filming a haunted house tour and a glow-in-the-dark hayride to capturing trick-or-treating and all the cozy fall festivities, there was no shortage of fun, festive moments. We were also lucky to have our extra team member Ayden on hand to help us grab even more great content. This shoot was more than just work—it was one of our favorite memories, filled with creativity, laughter, and just the right amount of Halloween chills. 🎃📸👻

Last week, the Boyd Pearman team embarked on an unforgettable adventure to New York City! We attended B&H’s Photo Expo, where we geeked out over shiny new gear, immersed ourselves in inspiring seminars, and connected with talented artists from all over. The fun didn’t stop there—we caught Paul Simon in concert and saw Sunset Blvd on Broadway, which had all of us in tears. With our partners-in-crime, Mo and Zack, along for the ride, the trip became a whirlwind of laughter, inspiration, and creative bonding. We’re so thankful to be part of such an amazing team that not only grows together, but also knows how to turn every moment into an adventure. We came back energized, full of new ideas, and excited to put our new tools and insights into action!

In the summer of 1997, Richard Boyd and Amy Pearman were assigned to photograph and film at the state-of-the-art Mercedes Benz plant in Birmingham, Alabama. This was the first major plant built by Mercedes Benz outside of Germany, so our team was excited for the challenge!
Hubbell Lighting had provided the industrial lighting package for the facility, so it was an excellent opportunity to capture a number of industrial lighting applications all in one place for the client.
It was an amazing experience watching cars start out as a pile of stamped metal sheets, being welded into bodies by robotic welders, dipped into paint vats, all while in constant motion. Then, all the parts converged on the assembly line as busy teams installed finished doors, wheels and tires, dashboards, drive trains, and tail lights. The BP team was mesmerized by the magical choreography happening before their eyes.
No journey is complete without a few hiccups, like the ones Richard had after choking on stove cleaner-stained French toast at the hotel...But riding the trolley at the Chattanooga Choo Choo on the way home quickly turned his frown upside down!

Snow has always held a certain magic, but nothing could have prepared the team for arriving in Granby, Colorado to a bone chilling -26 degrees. After a treacherous drive across a winding mountain road known simply as The Pass, we made it to Winter Park—cold, cautious, and completely awestruck. Expectations quickly gave way to something far better: an unforgettable adventure.
Five feet of fresh snow became the backdrop for filming a family ice fishing on a frozen lake, capturing a couple outside a snow-covered brewery, and tubing down hills with new friends.
Though the cold was intense and gear pushed to its limits, the experience was one of pure joy and lasting memories!

From riding a waterslide backwards to jumping waves with an excited pup — it all started as the adventure of a lifetime and has grown into nearly a decade of unforgettable experiences! What began with just three small properties on the Eastern Shore has now become 125 properties across 29 states. Grateful for the journey and our #amazingclients who made it all possible!
