#project ● On Earth Day 🌍, we like to present you 'Withuys', a design we recently finished for @dominieksavio and which is currently being turned into reality. This project means a lot to us as it will enhance the well-being, comfort and independence of the students, but also reduce the ecological footprint of the building through more efficient energy use. #teamspirit ● Together we can achieve more! As boydens engineering, and now continued within the sweco group, we always wanted to push the built environment towards a new level of sustainability by proposing intelligent out-of-the-box designs for complex projects. Now, we are moving towards a world where clusters of buildings (districts, but also large building complexes) become more and more important, and hence also our solutions. Due to the inherent variability and flexibility in such large projects, the potential for sustainable solutions is large, for we can propose systems that are not feasible on a small scale, but can potentially be useful in clusters. During our lunchbreak we could enjoy a healthy and sustainable vegatarian lunch by @plan_b_247 whilst being inspired with solutions lying outside the traditional ‘heat pump-box’. The main goal was to give a bird’s-eye view of the different technologies, that are perhaps somewhat unknown, with some key characteristics, so that we can see the potential for them in future projects. @iconbroadcastgroup ensured that other interested employees from all over the world could follow the session online.

#teamspirit ● The colleagues in Luxembourg were very pleased to receive their new cycling helmets! A bicycle helmet reduces the risk of a serious head injury by 60%. By transporting us by bike with a helmet we provide to more safety on the road and a greener tomorrow!
