Ladies and gentlemen Colonel Mustard has returned
.
This whole thing started as a spur of the moment decision to pick this 1967 Jeep Gladiator 4 years ago with a loan from my mom and has turned into a journey of love and appreciation for classics. I had no plans as to what I was going to do with it but I always loved these style jeeps. Just like the one from the original Twister movie. Not that it’s some fancy pants build or anywhere near complete but I’ve finally gotten to drive it for the first time after owning it for years, and even though my mom isn’t around to see it, I know she’s just as stoked as I am about it. A huge shoutout to @floyd3688 for putting so much time into swapping this thing over to a LS running on a holly terminator with a custom cross member, driveshaft, and ford 9 inch rear end, and lots more. Also thank you to @stxtic_flexus and his mom for re-covering the bench seat and doing a beautiful diamond stitch pattern on it to bring it back to life. It still needs a handful of things before I’ll be comfortable ripping around in it but It wouldn’t be where it’s at without all their amazing talents and knowledge. It’s still got some swiss cheese floor pans, no turn signals and a lot of other loose ends to tie up but it’s truly amazing to have it back and running and driving. Blessed to have some amazing people in my life
.
Last pic is the day I got it

Still a long way to go with this car but I’m very happy with how it’s coming along. Still needs a laundry list of things done to it but it’s an absolute joy to drive.

Blair Cruise Night is always a good time. So many nice classics. Car shows are fun but seeing the cars ride by is way cooler. Perfect weather for it too.
130+ hours into this paint job, the man @jefff_fowler absolutely killed this. Such a beautiful bike 🤌 check out his page @candy_slabss for more
