Around the time I first came out (bisexual to lesbian very quickly), I went shopping with my mom to a few cute boutique shops nearby. I was finally allowing myself to play around with some edgy/masc pieces while still keeping it fem enough to capture the male gaze. This was my first (of manyyyy) significant wardrobe changes as I embarked on the journey of finding myself.
I recently came into possession of a few of these clothing items and couldn’t help myself from having a bit (or a lot??) of fun with it. I felt inspired to recreate photos from this era in my life to showcase the pieces for resell and for the laughs & nostalgia of it all.
These pictures were taken about 3.5 years ago and my style (along with a few other things…) has evolved significantly since. Even today, I feel like I am only scratching the surface of finding what clothing makes me feel like my truest self.
I truly love how clothes allow you to access different parts of yourself in whatever way you desire. And whether you’re a baby gay, a seasoned queer elder, or something in between (or outside for my straights!), we are always transitioning into different seasons of our lives and our wardrobe plays an important role in reflecting that. This is a big reason why my northern star for Boy Fruit Threads is selling clothing that is accessible and affordable for folks to buy again and again as they move through new phases of becoming.

Had an incredible time at dew drop’s monthly dyke night with the most daylight of the season yet! I can’t wait for the warm summer nights when it stays light for even longer and gets even MORE poppin’☀️☀️☀️
I sold around 18 pieces and made a little over $300 - a very solid night!! Also had my winter items at 50% off so some of you got those hot (or cold) d3al$$$🤑🥵🥶 And I went home lighter as a result, which is always my favorite 🤩🤩

My beautiful family came down to D.C. last weekend to celebrate my birthday and you know they weren’t leaving without some boy fruit threads!!
