Mum ❤️ Today we are celebrating my beautiful mums 80th birthday! Surrounded by all of our family and friends felt like an especially important milestone since my father’s passing 3yrs ago. As much as my early days of boxing success and the brand journey for Boxmaster Combat can be put down to my dad’s training and influence it can also be attributed to all of my mums sacrifices. Mums are the ones that pack the lunches, wash the training gear and fix the cuts and bruises after every fight we have in and out of the ring….. and believe me there was lots. My mum was responsible for feeding not only our family of 5 each night but many of the fighters at @balga_boxing_club after training. There would be bowls of hot pasta, cutlets, meatballs salads and biscotti served up to every hungry boxer that Dad would invite to join us. My mum never missed a boxing fight, she was a true supporter and stuck by my dad till the end. I recall her once even throwing a shoe at a 1 sided referee at one of the local boxing competitions in the late 70s. 😂 Strong, funny fearless and selfless is my mum all 4ft of her! For every sacrifice she has made for us along her 60 years as a mother, we thank her! For the bowls of pasta she still makes for me and my family every Sunday and for being the brand cheerleader since day one thank you mum, we ALL love you ❤️ and as they say in Italian Cent’anni 🥳🍾❤️ (100 years) Salute!

After a sensational first month offering our Boxing Therapy for Parkinson’s classes down at the Loftus Centre we’re excited to be running another Fazio’s PD Fighters open day before the end of the year.
