So this wedding was a special one for meβ¦ but also, admit it. Thatβs probably the coolest spot in Glasgow for a first look (swipe right to see).
Fridays wedding was a really special one, as I got to shoot the wedding of my two friends (which always adds a wee bit pressure) Gabby and Luke.
The theme for the day was βa night in Glasgowβ and I think they more than bloody nailed it. I wanted to try and bring in a bit of that theme to the gallery, using the tenement staircase of their flat for the bridal portraits, and trying to get the best out of the incredible space inside the Kelvingrove art gallery to its maximum (the shot of the guys under the βheadsβ is actually 3 photos stitched together into a vertical panorama just to try and get a a floor to ceiling view of the whole space as itβs SUCH a massive space to try and get across on camera). Then Box Hub (@box__hub ) really added to the authentically Glasgow theme for the ceremony and reception in the evening. Honestly Gabs and Like deserve soooo much credit for how well they just nailed the vision for their main event. The day even finished with a piece from @piece.glasgow . Could you get more Glasgow than that? Couldnβt be happier for you guys β€οΈ. Thanks so much for trusting your fellow history grad with this massive responsibility!
