On the road turning this historic library into our set for the day.
When we walk into a space we start to look for compositions, lines, and motivation. This place had an abundance of options. The lighting in house was a bit too much for the mood of the film, so we took down some levels and flagged off a few areas. We were looking for a split color look, so in camera we tuned the white balance to lean into the cool daylight from a window source, while pulling our subject off the background with a very warm tungsten source for our key. Overall, this was a fun location to shoot in, and one that could play into many different looks.
