A couple of weeks ago during our International Sunday at my church @bfwcindy , I had the opportunity to sing this powerful song by @cecewinans in Yoruba language representing the western part of Nigeria.
It was more than just singing for me, it gave me a glimpse of how heaven will look like and that made me so happy:
“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!””

So I am posting this today to re-echo that our diversity can become our strength. We are much STRONGER and BETTER together.

It’s 7 years today! 🕊️🕊️
Although it feels just like yesterday, time tells a different story. April 30, 2019 was a day that changed my life forever. My Dad, My Hero, My Pastor, My Friend, My Teacher, My Role Model passed on from this world to eternal peace and glory in heaven leaving the rest of his family and loved ones to keep running our race.
While it still hurts, this scripture holds true- “the memory of the righteous is blessed…” Prov. 10:7. Whenever I think of my Dad, it brings me comfort knowing that He loved God and lived for Him till the very end.
I do not mourn like one without hope because death is not the end for us who are believers.
I know that my Dad fought the good fight of faith, finished his race and is wearing his many crowns and someday, we will meet again in heaven where there will be no more pain, sorrow and grief.
Till then, the Marathon Continues…🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️

Covering your sin by doing “good works” which scripture describes as rending your garment, is an ineffective way to live a victorious life over sin because it don’t address the problem. The Bible tells us to rend our hearts instead.
So how do we do that?
Here are 3 steps which I have tagged as the “3 Rs” of rending our hearts:
-Reflection
-Repentance
-Realignment
You can learn more about them in the video.
A clean garment without a clean heart is like a clean car without an engine. It’s aesthetically pleasing but not functional.

Be Watchful! 👀🤺
Have you ever gotten something that you really wanted and it suddenly becomes your treasured possession?
You protect it, guard it, take care of it, and do everything to make sure that nothing goes wrong with it. If you can relate to this analogy then this word is for you!
While you wait for your season of breakthrough to come you have a role to play by being careful to ensure that your season doesn’t meet you unprepared or worse, pass you by.
Each season comes with it’s own set of instructions from God. It’s your responsibility to find out what your instructions are and ask God for the grace to obey them.
Remember, the enemy is always looking for a place or a people to devour (steal, kill and destroy). Therefore, you must be alert and prepared to beat him at his own game with the assurance that you already have the victory in Christ Jesus!
“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”

I am so glad that I had the opportunity to rest over the past week. I ate really good food, hung out with my friends and had the best time. Even on days, I was indoors, I made sure I put my feet up and enjoyed every moment that I got to rest.
This is a soft launch into my “baby girl era” (Amen) and I hope you all are ready for it. Well, ready or not…you know the rest 😅😅

What do you do when what you see happening in your life doesn’t look like what God has said? 🤔🤔
The Bible reminds us that God is a promise keeper! This means that whenever our situation doesn’t line up with His promise, we have a responsibility to confess His Word over that situation because He doesn’t lie and whatever He has promised us must surely come to pass. 💫💫
So ask yourself this “Has He (God) promised?” If the answer is yes, then rest assured that He will do it because He is Faithful that promised. He is Faithful to the very end.

Jesus is Qualified Heb 4:15-16🌟
In today’s world where we need certain certifications to be qualified for a job role or business, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ modeled this by wrapping Himself in humanity over 2000 years ago just so He could know what it felt like to be human and ultimately die for our sins so He could redeem our souls from hell.
So yes, Jesus is qualified to bear your burden, to protect you, to provide for you, and to be your Lord and Savior forever. He sees you, He knows you and He understands❤️❤️
The birth of Jesus is where it all began so let us celebrate this Christmas Season with a heart of gratitude and come boldly before His throne always because He is Qualified ✅

The enemy is on assignment to make sure that we don’t get to our promise land(Whatever God has promised us).
He knows that if he can discourage us from playing our part (through prayer, studying of the word, service in God’s house, giving, etc) then it’s only a matter of time before we disqualify ourselves from our due season of bountiful harvest and rewards.
The road may seem long and turbulent but don’t stop doing what pleases God. The Lord is in your midst and so you will not fail. 💯🙏🏾
