Yes, yes, I know. They’ll get it all wrong without me. I suppose one more series won‘t kill anyone. Well, except… that would be telling ;) Honestly didn’t think I’d do another audio Doctor Who run after 7V, but here we are again. I really wanted to do post-apocalyptic companion and from there the floodgates opened. Lots of new ideas in this and barely a returning enemy in sight. Okay, there’s one Dalek. But we have unfinished business. Finally been able to do a two-parter with The Second Death and The Second Death of the Daleks. Yes, I know they are episodes one and six, did you think I wasn’t going to go weird? Wings of Steel is up there with Sins of the Flesh for one of my favourite things I’ve written for Who. We’ve got fabulous full cast scripting debuts from @chrismarkham99 and @white_katherine_ . Rochana Patel has pulled another blinder as well. It’s all been so exciting to watch it go from vague ideas to written series. And the casts! Oh the casts! @bowermanlb has an amazing job directing all of these, pulled together exactly the people needed for the parts. Haven’t worked with her for an age and it has been a total blast being back in the studio with her. All of the credit for adding the revelation that is @gwithianevans to the companion roster must entirely go her way. @jonculshawofficial is SUPERB as the Doctor. Gwithian is SUPERB as Ash. Together, they are unsurprisingly SUPERB. They were incredible in studio and I think you’re going to love them. I hope you do. We found another load of everything and another kitchen sink to throw at this. All kicks off in July. More details to follow.
