Some days, you wake up feeling like utter garbage. Today I had set a plan with @teeboi_23 to work on my makeup over zoom. Doing my face made me feel surprisingly better. With a few tweaks and tips from @teeboi_23 turns out I am not garbage nor am I bad at make up. It seems that I often know more than I think.

Today I am blessed to be able to rehearse a duet being performed this weekend, and also wake to an invite for a script reading. Such gifts! I am so grateful for such love and opportunities. I am truly fortunate to have y’all in my life, and share existence with you.
Being able to spend my birthday not necessarily partying it up but getting to do what I’m meant to do is something I’ve never really considered before. Sometimes we have to pretend we’re at a pillow spa just so this powerful child is able to settle, and let mommy or daddy use the bathroom in peace.....it works for like two mins (max) 😂
But, I wouldn’t change her tenacity, spark, energy, intelligence, gumption, and/or non-stop lip (okay maybe this one a little) for anything.

Living with her I’m never ready, let alone I’m sure, mama @kelseycdw or daddy @teeboi_23 (we’re always being gooped) so try to “gird your loins” world. Octavia is coming. In other words, Octavia is Queen with two passionate and incredibly loving parents, a part court jester/part advisor of a quncle/guncle; And we are there to make sure she learns to stand when she falls, finds joy in making mistakes and facing failure, and always knows where to find love and light in the hardest of times. Shout out to the other aunts/uncles/guncles/launties for such wonderful support as well. Octavia is so lucky to have so many wonderful people looking out for her.
